Life Day 21893: Corinne Againne

June 21, 2007 on 11:39 am | In On The Road |

Happy Summer Solstice everyone.
Today’s load is not going to Las Vegas as has been the norm lately, but rather Billings, MT. It will be a refreshing change. The prescribed route takes me through the Caribou-Targhee National Forest on US-20 and past the western edge of Yellowstone National Park on US-191 so it will be scenic as well. Since the load won’t be ready until late this afternoon, i’ll have to wait until the return trip tomorrow to feast my eyes on the wonders of nature. This is the perfect time of year for travel in this area. The weather is perfect.
One of the drawbacks of working out of Corinne is the sporatic internet connection. It is in a “fringe” area so my wireless phone card loses it’s signal frequently, usually right in the middle of something important. If i’m going to do any serious “geeking”, I will have to relocate to one of the truckstops in Ogden, about 20 miles away.
