Life Day 21941: Home Again

August 8, 2007 on 4:08 pm | In On The Road, Travelblogue |

Seems like the only time I can get a good connection and post things to this BLOG is when I’m home in Las Vegas. When I’m on the road, I seldom have time to geek. When I’m in Corinne, I can’t get a reliable connection.
Anyway, nothing of any great consequence to me happened since my last venture into the BLOGoshpere. Barry Bonds breaks the all time home-run record; no affect on my life. Congress does an about-face on monitoring phone conversations; doesn’t affect me. Even the Cove Fort fire in Utah early last month didn’t affect my life. The road closures some of our drivers experienced during that fire due to smoke and proximity to the freeway had no affect on me because I was running in Idaho and Wyoming. By the time I did get a load south, the fire was out. I took these pictures of the aftermath about a week ago while traveling through.

Cove Fort is on I-15 at about mm-133. The fire jumped the freeway quite a few times on a 10 mile stretch around this area.
The only place I traveled that was unique since my last post was Louisville, CO. I didn’t even know that there was a Louisville, CO. It’s about 10 miles east of Boulder, CO. I delivered to the Sam’s Club there. Other than that, life is fairly mundane. I’ve done nothing of consequence during my stay here in Vegas, nor do I intend to!!!
